IMMEDIATE-System Analyst/Developer (Java)

We have an IMMEDIATE requirement for an System Analyst/Developer (Java) at Health Canada.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Two (2) projects that demonstrate the proposed resource’s ability to provide services similar in scope to the requirements
  
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in each the following areas:
  • N-Tier Service oriented application architecture
  • Java
  
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on GUI design and development experience for Web applications
  
• Minimum of three(3) years over the last four(4) years of hands-on experience in each of the following:
  • Spring MVC
  • Hibernate
  

Rated Requirements:

• Experience implementing common components or shared services as part of an Enterprise Solution.
• Designed/developed/hands-on project experience, from inception to support of IT solutions.
  
• Hands-on project experience in design/development in:
  • JEE/J2EE
  • Ant
  • Maven
  • Junit
  • XML
  • Web Services
  • SOA (ex: SOAP, REST)
  • Eclipse
  
• Knowledge of and proven hands-on project experience using SCRUM or Feature Driven Development (FDD) Agile methods designing/developing within an organization.
  
• Hands-on project experience in design/development using:
  • GWT
  • JSF
  
• Hands-on project experience with UI Prototyping
