InGenius is looking for a bright and innovative Network Administrator to help our company with IT and VoIP Infrastructure and some Customer Support.
Interested? Here's some details:
We need someone who's pretty terrific at Network Administration. Specifically:
• Windows Server Applications such as IIS, Active Directory, SQL Server, Wikis,
• Administration of cloud-based servers and email systems,
• Telephony support - managing telephone systems such as Cisco, Asterisk, Mitel, Avaya, and others,
• Good knowledge of and willing to become an expert in Cisco telephony: Call Manager, UCCE, UCCX, etc.,
• Firewall management,
• Virtualization technologies - we run mostly virtualized servers,
• Data backup strategies,
• Network Attached Storage management,
• Source code management systems, bug tracking systems support,
• Account management and policies,
• Network Documentation,
• General support: New workstations, setting up test benches, supporting QA's needs for various OS versions on virtual machines.
You should be a self-starter. Someone who recognizes what needs to be done, and gets on with it with a minimum of supervision. And you should be interested in creating a terrific Network Infrastructure that's well laid out, wired, documented and managed and supported. You are creating and managing the heart of our organization!
And, Customer support:
We provide 1st and 2nd line support for the products we create.
• Your work in customer support is extremely important to our company - in many cases you are the face of the company to our customers - so we need people who are enthusiastic and awesomely supportive of the customer's needs. Someone who will work with the customer and our developers to identify the issue, and come up solution. Often your work feeds directly into the development of new features in our products.
• Though you will sometimes be dealing with end users, you will most often be working with network administrators and dealers - answering their questions about rolling out the applications and installation issues.
• For every call, you will be updating our software issue database, and generally creating FAQ entries which describe the issue and resolution in enough detail that future customers can make use of it.
This is a full-time position with our in-house engineering team. Your role will be critical to our success.
We offer an excellent and supportive work environment and a varied workload - you'll be involved in a whole bunch of cool stuff - evaluating new technologies and helping us make use of 'em. InGenius is a no bull organization. No politics. We like to do great work, make our customers really happy, and have fun while doing it.
You will have fun and will grow in your field! This is a cool job.
