We have a requirement for a Project Leader at Health Canada.
Mandatory Requirements:
- A recognized university degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Business Administration and a current certified designation in project management from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Please include copy of degree and name as recorded in PMIs on line registry, along with the expiry date of current certification.
- More than 5 years of experience, over the past 10 (ten) years, in providing advice and expertise in the form of briefings, presentations, written reports, options and recommendations to senior management regarding the status of the project to resolve issues.
- More than 5 years experience, over the past 10 (ten) years, managing and delivering large-scale* IM/IT projects.
- 5-10 years, over the past 10 (ten) years, of experience working with cross functional experts in an IT organization to deliver projects with multiple releases on time within scope and budget.
- 5-10 years, over the past 10 (ten) years, of experience preparing detailed work plans for the project deliverables and taking corrective actions to ensure deadlines are met.
- Experience in the assessment and / or review of large scale* projects, including assessment and management of risk, within the last 5-10 years.
* A large scale project is defined as greater than ten (10) person years of effort per year
