Programmer Analyst

We have a requirement for a Programmer Analyst at Health Canada.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • (5) years experience in general analysis, design, and programming experience with enterprise-level systems.
  • (3) years experience with the development of enterprise-level systems in J2EE.
  • Experience with the complete J2EE web application life cycle including design, development, modeling and systems maintenance for at least one (1) project with similar magnitude and for which the proposed resource worked on for a minimum of six months.
    Similar Magnitude is defined as:
    • Costing over $1 million or
    • With more than 6 (IT) people on the team or
    • Development phase effort > 6 person years.
  • (3) years experience, over the past ten (10) years, with each of:
    a) IBM WSAD (version 5 or higher) / RAD, or Eclipse
    b) Oracle, and
    c) Hibernate and
    d) Spring MVC and
    e) Web services (WSDL, SOAP, JAX-RPC)
  • (3) years experience, over the past 5 (five) years, in producing user & system design documentation using UML in combination with an industry recognized SDLC methodology.
Rated Requirements:
  • Experience (within the last (3) three years) in a role similar to that described in the Statement of Work.

    Project 1

    d) Technological profile of the work completed.
    e) Role and length of involvement of the candidate on the project.

    Project 2
    a) Name, phone number and email address of the client.

    d) Technological profile of the work completed.
    e) Role and length of involvement of the candidate on the project.
