SQL Server DBA

We have a requirement for a SQL Server DBA at Canadian Nuclear Service Commission.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 10 years experience as a Database Administrator (DBA)
  
• 10 years experience in the authoring of database related documentation.
  
• 5 years experience working in a software development team in a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 environment.
  
• 3 years experience working in a government environment with the implementation of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008.
  

Rated Requirements:

• Experience in database analysis and data modeling skills in a Microsoft SQL Server environment 2005 or 2008.
  
• Experience in developing stored procedures, functions and T-SQL scripts in Microsoft SQL Server environment 2005 or 2008.
  
• Experience in database configuration and optimization experience in a
• Microsoft SQL Server environment 2005 or 2008.
  
• Experience in the conversion of Sybase database systems to Microsoft SQL Server
  
• Experience in the use of Team Foundation Server for source control.

Duration: until March 31, 2012 (2 4-month option periods)
