We have a requirement for a Data Conversion Specialist at Health Canada.
Mandatory Requirements:
- (5) or more years of experience preparing data conversion/ migration strategies and plans in a large government department (5,000 or more employees)
- Experience developing strategies, plans and approaches for the conversion and migration of data from legacy systems to a large COTS system.
- Experience analyzing existing data stores and recommending detailed procedures for the coordination of large data repository conversions and migration.
- Experience preparing, testing, and executing the manual and/or automated migration of data from various systems for import into a new system.
- Demonstrates a college diploma or university degree in computer science/informatics, by enclosing a copy of the diploma or degree.
- Demonstrates related professional training and/or certification in data management by listing all training courses, the training provider, and the date obtained.
