We have immediate requirement for (2) two Programmer Analysts for one of our Federal Government clients.
Mandatory Requirements:
- The proposed resource must have a minimum of five (5) years within the last ten (10) years demonstrated experience*,
OR
a minimum of (3) years within the last ten (10) years demonstrated experience* and hold a recognized professional certification (systems analysis and/or programming)
*For the purposes of this criteria, experience is defined as working on the technical design, programming and development of applications for a large business application (5000+ users/clients), in one or more of the following roles:
• Programmer
• Software Developer
• Coder
• Software Developer - The proposed resource must have demonstrated experience, within the last ten (10) years, in the analysis, development, scheduling and implementation of application coding and testing.
- The proposed resource must have a minimum of three (3) years within the last ten (10) years demonstrated experience in the following:
• Finalizing design
• Testing new coding
• Testing changes to existing coding
• Verify functional abilities of system to align with end-state goals. - Demonstrated experience, within the last ten (10) years in modifying and/or repairing any problems encountered in coding of new requirements and implement any outstanding problem resolutions (PRs) and/or change requests (CRs) if/as required to ensure end-state functionality and reliability.
- Demonstrated experience, within the last ten (10) years participating in elaboration sessions with business clients to clarify requirements and end-state goals.
- Minimum of one (1) year within the last ten (10) years demonstrated experience working as a direct user of, or programmer/developer on an enforcement management system.
- Minimum of five (5) years within the last ten (10) years demonstrated experience programming/developing in Java, JavaScript, J2EE, Visual Basic and Crystal Reports using an iterative development methodology.
- Minimum of two (2) years within the last ten (10) years demonstrated experience programming/developing in Sybase EAServer, Sybase ASE, Cognos products.
Rated Criteria:
- Experience in the last ten (10) years, where the resource
demonstrated working in application design and development for large (5000+ workstations/licenses) business application projects. - Experience over and above the minimum five (5) years working on the technical design, programming and development of applications for a large business application (500+ users/clients), in one or more of the following roles:
• Programmer
• Software Developer
• Coder
• Software Engineer - Over and above the minimum three (3) years experience years within the last ten (10) years demonstrated experience finalizing and system testing new coding, coding changes and functional abilities system to align with end-state goals.
- Experience in the last ten (10) years, where the resource
demonstrated working in large mainframe or client-server development projects performing analysis, design and/or development, either for an organization or a major application area, in order to meet the business and application requirements. - Experience in the last ten (10) years, where the resource
demonstrated working in multi-disciplinary teams that involve two or more government departments. - Above the minimum five (5) years experience programming/developing in Java, JavaScript, J2EE, Visual Basic and Crystal Reports using an iterative development methodology.
- Above the minimum two (2) years experience programming/developing in Sybase EAServer, Sybase ASE, Cognos products.
- Experience in the last seven (7) years, where the resource
demonstrated working as a Programmer on the National Case Management System (NCMS). - Experience in the last seven (7) years, where the resource
demonstrated working as a Programmer on the Field Operations Support System (FOSS). - Completed post-secondary education or training related to Business Administration or Information Technology/Computer Science: University Degree / College Diploma / Technical Courses of direct relevance to the Statement of Work
