We have immediate requirement for a Corporate Desktop Support consultant for one of our Federal Government clients.
Requirements:
- Assist in creation and testing of Microsoft Installer packages (MSI) and operating system images
- Conduct assigned tests to ensure systems and software applications operate as expected; identifying and resolving operational problems
- Produce/update documentation on application functions and deployment
- Assist in the monitoring of alerts from various vendors and in the testing of patches prior to implementation
- Provision of back-up support to Corporate Systems Support help desk on an as-required basis
- Contribute to the formulation of alert management policies, directives, guidelines and procedures
