Senior Web Application Developer

InGenius is seeking a Senior Web Application Developer assist the Department of Fisheries and Oceans with the following:

  • Developing an information architecture that presents information in a unified manner and that is responsive to the needs of Canadians and the Government of Canada Communications Policy and the Department’s priorities
  • Grouping common content to avoid duplication of information.
  • Managing all “sub” Web sites consistently and efficiently within clearly defined policies and processes and under an enterprise umbrella.
  • Improving the Department’s Internet presence to account for rapidly growing uses of the Web, to collaborate internally and externally and provide services to Canadians

Qualifications:
  • Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience with developing collaborative web applications in a GoC environment, with multiple stakeholders
  • 10 Years Demonstrated experience in IT, and at least 5 years experience developing Web Applications in the last 7 years
  • Experience with the following technologies: ASP.net, XML, PHP, SQL for Oracle, mySQL, xhtml strict 1.0, ECMAScript (Javascript) / AJAX, SOAP/XMLP, Flash, Google Earth/Maps KML WMS
  • Experience with CLF
  • Experience with social media (asset)
  • Bilingual
