We have a requirement for a Web Administrator (.NET) for one of our Federal Government clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years experience programming, testing, supporting and troubleshooting .NET applications or ASP.NET web applications using VB.NET or C# as the language
- Minimum of five years experience administering IIS 6 or IIS7 web servers
- Programmer/Analyst diploma with object oriented programming courses from a known college or university recognized program
- Good knowledge of IIS and Internet Services Manager including:
- Installing and configuring IIS on new servers
- Adding new web sites to an existing instance of IIS
- Requesting and installing SSL certificates
- Setting security for web sites, folders and applications using Windows permissions and IIS settings
- Creating and configuring IIS applications
- Knowledge of application development tools such as: Microsoft Visual Studio
- Bilingual
