InGenius Engineering is a Software Engineering and Consulting Firm active in Ottawa. We have immediate requirement for a Senior Business Analyst for one of our Federal Government clients.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience within the last seven (7) years in a leading role as a Business Analyst
- 5 years experience in a leading role participating in workshops to gather requirements
- 10 combined years with a minimum of 2 years each in environments where the following technologies were used: ASP, Visual Basic and MS-SQL
- experience using UML modeling tools
- experience leading the creation of analysis and design models with detailed Business Requirements or Functional Specifications or system use cases or activity diagrams or class diagrams
- experience working on the following phases of the application development life cycle: business requirements definition, system design and analysis, development, testing, conversion, reporting, documentation
- experience using testing software and/or setting up testing scenarios with common tools (e.g. Word or EXCEL) to aid the validation of Business Requirements and Functional Specifications
- experience with creating Business Requirements or Functional Specifications or Use Cases based on reviewing any of the following: ASP, .Net, Visual Basic or MS-SQL code
