Webmaster

We have a requirement for an Webmaster at DFAIT.

Mandatory Requirements:

• A minimum 3 (three) years of experience applying the Government of Canada CLF 2.0 Guidelines to websites.
• A minimum of 5 (five) years of web development experience.
• A minimum 3 (three) years of experience working with the W3C Standards.
  

Rated Requirements:

• Demonstrate the Contractor’s experience in generating accessible PDFs
• Demonstrate the contractor’s experience in the use of the Interwoven content management system.
• Demonstrate the Contractor’s web project management experience, involving one or more resources, and multiple stakeholders.

Junior/Intermediate Technical Writer

We have a requirement for an Junior/Intermediate Technical Writer at DFAIT.

Mandatory Requirements:

• A minimum 2 (two) years of experience in optimizing content for the web, including search engine optimization.
• A minimum 2 (two) years of experience writing content for CLF (Common Look and Feel) Government of Canada websites.
• A minimum 2 (two) years of experience in journalism or other non-governmental web writing.
  

Rated Requirements:

• Demonstrate the contractor’s experience in conducting web content analysis, categorization, evaluation and/or reduction exercises.
• Demonstrate the contractor’s experience in drafting and publishing web content adhering to WCAG 2.0 guidelines
• Experience in applying user-experience (UX) principles to page structure and layout
